Ryan Pina, Founder & CEO

Ryan is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Ampersand Media.

With a passion for design and social media, advertising was a natural fit for him. Born and raised in Rhode Island, he also spent several years in upstate New York, before settling in New York City. In addition to his responsibilities as the CEO, he also functions as a "jack of all trades" filling roles similar to an account executive, creative director, and chief strategist.

Ryan began his professional career at Media Kitchen, a full-service media agency in New York, NY, and currently works for VML, the world’s largest creative agency, as a media manager. He holds two degrees from Syracuse University, including a masters degree in Digital Communications from the renowned S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications. Prior to founding his own agency, he spent nearly seven years working for Apple Retail .

Ryan is a passionate musician, having arranged music for various ensembles at the high school and collegiate level, and has played in several bands throughout his life. His other hobbies include photography, and travel, and has completed a trans-continental rail trip of the United States.
